It’s all about View from Romanticism to Successful Marriage !
The story is like normal love story, Krish and Ananya wanted to marry each other but their different cultures became a big hurdle in the relationship which came into picture suddenly after 2 years ‘Love’. Krish and Ananya’s love is expressed more in the form of actions. Both have the parents having high expectations from their children. Their high expectations lead their children to IIM-A but not their choice of their child’s spouse. Still, at last, they have accepted what they have not expected ; and happily !!
What the best is there in the movie was the long lasting love from both the sides and the strength to deal with the blessed family at any cost. Alia Bhatt(Ananya) has played her role very well. She seems a bit little for the character but taken so much care of her looks in IIM-A grad girl and till the end. She seems the whole package of beauty, IIM-A grad smart girl, having marketing skills and using them at the right place, strength of a girl, always smiling, trustworthy and truthful relationship etc. Arjun Kapoor(Krish) is good at his level.
In the first halve mother-son (Krish and his mother) relationship is shown at best and in the second halve, father-son (Krish and his father) relationship is shown very immensely and very touching. Music is entertaining.
Some observations:
Life’s best opportunities never wait for anyone or anything. They come just randomly and at that time, we should not be more hazy or too lazy.
Sometimes, we relate the unnecessary things like Gandhiji’s birth place and beer.
One good thing to follow in life from the dialogue, “story main hero ho ya na ho; story hero honi chahie !”. The life should be fruitful and awesome.
One another nice set of words, “Jawani me kisi aise darwaze ko mat thukra dena, jiski wajah se puri zindgi bhikh mangni pade..”
There are many examples throughout the movie that how misunderstanding can misguide any relationship.
Another good thing, If we work for the self, that is the best work we can ever do. That thing got appreciation !
The Parent’s love is always infinite and more than their ego and designations/positions for their child. that is shown at the last.
Though it has the same Bollywood fashion End, It’s good one and emotional. Overall good Love Story. Book is better if there is good imagination and more descriptive story reading capacity.!

After all the barriers finally their love wins that’s the best part of the movie.
